Impact Tip - You can make an impact!

This is HUGE as I stated yesterday...I am going to give away a free wedding to the person planning to make a statement to their family and friends on their wedding day! If this sounds like you, than listen up.

I will provide coverage up to 10 hours, travel nationwide, paperless proofs, and online gallery to the person who is planning to make the least impact on the environment and the most impact on the community on their wedding day. Over a $5000 value!

How you say...well I have some ideas in the green links page on the website and their is a ton of information just by searching green weddings. Three people who have implemented the most things they can for planning their wedding will be then subject to a poll on this blog and you the viewers will be the final judges.

The submissions begin now and end by 10 pm (CST) on February 10th, 2008. The online poll will begin no later than 10 am the next morning and voting will last until 11 pm (CST) on February 13th. The winner will be announced on Valentine's Day.

Submissions can be mailed or emailed and must include the plans already made or ideas to implement, a 5x7 photo of the couple sized to 300 dpi (1500 px by 2100 px), and your wedding date (must be no later than 12/31/2009), any other information is helpful in making final selections. I do reserve the right to select another finalist if the plans stated are not implemented so please don't just say it, do it!

I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with! Spread the word because as I mentioned, this is not limited to the Chicagoland area, I am willing to pay my own travel to be a part of something so important. A chance to show family and friends that social responsibility can still have style, elegance, and beauty!

Check this pdf to see the dates already booked for 2008.

Good luck and pass it on!!

For those of us not really up on the photography language, what does 300 dpi mean? Could you give us pixel dimensions and MBs?

Can't wait to see the pics, sounds like a fun idea. It'll be a really hard idea to push upstream though, as I'm sure you probably know.
