Impact Tip - Composting!

I have great news for all you Chicago-based green thumbs...spring is almost here and if you have ever thought about composting, now is the time to learn. Composting is a great way to reduce waste and garbage and grow your own fertilizer for your garden. Typically you keep it outside which is why I think more people will get started with this in the spring.

If you are interested and just don't know how to get started, you are in luck. There will be a class on composting next Saturday at Angelic Organics Learning Center, but you need to register so check it out and sign up!

The Ins & Outs of Composting; Apr. 12, 1-3 p.m. at Angelic Organics Learning Center, 6400 S. Kimbark Ave. b/t Kenwood and Woodlawn Aves. (773-288-5462). Class, $45 (Angelic suggests reserving your spot by April 4).
