I just got back from Atlanta where I am working on an exciting new project that I can't wait to share with you soon! Stay tuned for that announcement....and onto todays Impact Tip!
Now that it seems that the frost is gone for good, it is natural to want to get outside. Especially after such a long winter and chilly spring. Volunteering is a great way to get outside, work to help underfunded organizations to clean up our natural areas, and meet like minded people in your community. There are many organizations that sponsor these work groups. The Nature Conservancy is a great example, which is one of the non-profit organizations Vrai supports.
This link will take you to their site where you can find a listing of all the groups in the Chicagoland area and what dates they meet to work. You can also go here if you don't live in Chicago and find your state and local work groups. Time is the most precious gift, so if you have it, use it. You will be amazed at the return in your investment!
