Glen is an old friend so it was an absolute privilege to be asked to capture their special day. An added bonus was getting to see a lot of old friends. They got married at the Byron Colby Barn, a really fun setting for this great group of folks. This barn is part of a conservation based community that has become a model for communities around the country for incorporating sustainable living near large cities.

Greg and Jenny are the cutest! They have been planning this beautiful wedding for the past 5 months and it was one to remember. I loved the creative details, perfect touches and the moments that this wedding had. I loved that Jenny and Greg planned for their guests to enjoy cocktails before their ceremony, and loved that the ceremony and the celebration had an emphasis spending time and chatting with the people that mean the most in your lives. Truly, what a beautiful day, and what an amazing couple!

I met Stephanie through I Want to Walk the Talk, she started Bottles and Brushes, a really fun class of painting and wine. I am so excited they chose me for their wedding and had a great time getting to know them. Can't wait for the wedding, just a month away!

Impact Tip - Ecofont

I got this great tip from an Impact Tip follower Christina Brosnan about a new font that uses 20% less ink called ecofont. In the photo below, you can see how they used circles missing from the letters to save on ink. In a smaller font size, it would be significantly less noticeable.

I am excited to download and try the new font on our printed media.

Margaret and Brian

This wedding reminded me of the old saying...something old, something blue.... Margaret and Brian had many touches of vintage style and their picture perfect blue skies penetrated all the portraits. We had a great time with Margaret and Brian and their wonderful families and friends!

The church was right on the lake and provided a beautiful background as Margaret makes her entrance into the church And a great place for some risky portraits on the rocks :) I am glad they were up for it! Salvage One was the perfect venue for this couple and me! So many fun things to photograph and make some unique pictures The final treat was the Irish dance Margaret did with her sister and friend, it was truly amazing to see her dance like that especially in her dress. Her feet are moving so fast they are almost invisible!
